MVP Global Summit 2013 kicked off today (19th November 2013) at Microsoft Campus here at Redmond. The Windows Azure and Integration track started with a key note from Scott Guthrie. Just before the keynote I was pleasantly shocked when Mark Brown from Microsoft announced “Integration MVP of the Year” award goes to Saravana Kumar and asked Scott Gu to present the award.

Every year there will be 1 or 2 MVP’s per category (Azure, Integrations, SharePoint etc.) gets this award. The selection is done by all MVP’s in a particular category and by the Microsoft product group by a private survey. Once again I’m super excited and extremely honoured to get this award after being an MVP for 6 years.

I thank all the Microsoft Integration MVP’s and BizTalk server product team for nominating me for this award. It was not definitely not my solo effort to reach this pinnacle moment, I specially thank the BizTalk Crew (Steef-Jan, Sandro, Nino and Tord) and my BizTalk360 team, who helped all the way through in my efforts.
