The first half of the sessions and speakers are represented by Microsoft product group and the second half from Microsoft Integration MVP’s. I’ll encourage readers to drop their comments in the bottom, what do you think of it, whether you want coverage for any specific topic or not interested in certain topic etc. We have the flexibility to request speakers to tune their current session or pick a new topic. Let’s make INTEGRATE 2016 more community driven and engaging instead of simply fixing the agenda as an organizer. if in case you haven’t signed up for the event, you should run – not walk. During this talk, Sam will be using some of the real world applications that have been developed for customers and will make the link with mobile applications, IoT scenarios and messaging patterns, such as pub/sub.

14. BizTalk Server – Behind enemy lines – Johan Hedberg

BizTalk is about integration. Although true I’ve seen many BizTalk projects, solutions and installations become the exception and not integrating well with neither existing development practices, release routines or monitoring. For this presentation we will look at an example of the lifecycle of a BizTalk solution adopted to play nice in a java focused organization using the practices, tools and technologies common there to include BizTalk as well.

15. A new set of BizTalk Server Tips and Tricks – Sandro Pereira

It’s critical to use good tools and techniques to maintain, support and produce new working solutions as quickly as possible. In this session, Sandro will introduce you to a new set of useful BizTalk Server Tips and Tricks, acquired by years of experience in the field. The session will cover the expectations for all the roles: architects, managers, developers, and administrators. 17. Cloud or On-premise for a High Throughput Low Latency Integration Solution – Stephen W Thomas

This will take a look at a real-world client solution case study that looked at three possible options for an integration solution.  The solution will validate the user, validate the inbound message, integrate an external web service, and return the results to the user who is waiting for the results. This solution will look at using Logic Apps, API Apps, or BizTalk and look at the pros and cons of each solution.

18. Real World Industrial IoT – Kent Weare

Recently the organization that I work for has been undergoing the transformation.  With the challenging economic in Western Canada, we are being challenged to deliver more with less.  But, what we have discovered is that less doesn’t have to mean less.  In our case, we have been able to leverage Cloud technology to reduce our costs and time to deliver. In this session, Kent Weare will provide some real world examples of a project that he recently led.  The project is based on an Industrial IoT use case where we need to integrate with a 3rd party in order to deliver telemetry to our business for billing and operational optimization.

19. End-to-end IoT solution leveraging Microsoft Azure Platform – Steef-Jan Wiggers

Today, the Internet of Things (or IoT) is trendy, a lot of buzz and hype around it. However, it has become a reality in our age of digitalization and data. The internet has provided us means to consume data in various ways through devices provided by the smart device. Connectivity, protocols, velocity and volume of data it all matters in IoT. In this session we dive into an end-to-end IoT solution, discussing the technology and services Azure offers and how solutions look in the real world.

20. Azure IoT Hub beyond Hello World – Mikael Hakansson

The Azure IoT platform is built on a robust and stable infrastructure with a rich API for managing and develop IoT solutions. It does, however, leave customers with challenges like application and device management. During this session, we’re going to look at how to build, deploy and manage Azure IoT solutions all from a single hub, and extend it to Azure API apps and BizTalk Server.

21. How to take a customer from a Cloud Assessment to an Implementation – Tom Canter

In this session, Tom talks about what we’ve learned about customers, what they want and how we do actually take a specific requirement to an Azure implementation. We don’t know all the answers, but we can show what we’ve learned. The Assessment process, helping the customer figure out where in the IAAS/PAAS/SAAS spectrum they sit and the path they need to take today. Once we identify a specific requirement, for instance, a credit payment provider and an on-premise service, how do we connect them and show the value they can gain from this transition.

22. Unified tracking across on-premise and the cloud – M R Ashwin Prabhu

Tracking has always been the important requirement of the integration. Now with the scope of the integration need expanded from on-premise to cloud, tracking the technical and business process and viewing these tracked data in one consolidated place is paramount. Users don’t want to view on-premise data and cloud-tracked data in two different places. With BizTalk BAM and Azure LogicApp’s extensible nature we can show how Azure PowerBI can become a one-stop shop to monitor and analyse, the on-premise and cloud tracked data.

23. Implementing a real life scenario for the API Economy – Tomasso Groenendijk

APIs are becoming more important for organizations and people even talk about the API economy but how can you create your own API, expose it globally and make a profit with it? In this session Tomasso is going to show how you can use API Apps and DocumentDB to create a high performant API and how to use API Management in combination with Web Apps to expose the API and accept online payments.
