This one just came as a surprise to me, I build a Windows 2008 VM for my BizTalk 2009 testing, accidentally started it with the default configuration of 128MB, activated windows online.

After shut down ? I readjusted the RAM to 1.5 GB and restarted the virtual machine, this time it asked me to activate it again, saying substantial hardware changes deducted.
